The Talent Factory

AVN Energy A/S is a member of The Talent Factory which is created in co-operation between leading wind power companies representing a wide range of technical challenges in the wind turbine industry.

The purpose of The Talent Factory is to promote knowledge and interest about wind power among engineer students. Thus, the wind power industry offers engineer students a unique possibility to combine studies with insight in the wind turbine industry.

The background for The Talent Factory is that Denmark is world leading when it comes to wind power and the industry is experiencing yearly growth rates of 25-30 percent. The industry is therefore faced with an increased need to recruit qualified employees to maintain the leading position. A study made by the Danish Wind Industry Association (Vindmølleindustrien) shows that the industry needs approximately 150 new engineers every year.
